The product description was so brief that one really has no idea what to expect from the story. I anticipated it being a feel-good Christian redemption story. Oh, there are some feel-good moments but more often it is anxious and riveting. It is a story that imprisons the reader and torments his curiosity.
From the minute Brian introduces Big Pete, I was hooked. Big Pete is the scariest, meanest looking cell-mate ever to enter Salton Sea State Penn. According to Brian, Big Pete also has most people wetting their pants in respectful fear. The author cleverly draws the scene while the dialog has an authentic cadence that makes it convincing and real. The author locks you in the prison cell beside Brian and Big Pete keeps you there. Who will be redemed? This is a page turner that had me chewing my lip and sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for redemption. 2. An inspirational short story...
This short story by Joshua Graham is the perfect companion to his bestseller, "Beyond Justice". It is a great story about the transforming power of faith. I am not an overly "religious" person but the story really touched me. I guess we all need something greater than ourselves to believe in and lift our lives up. The characters in this story were also well fleshed out and believable--which is hard to do in a short story format. I really enjoyed this story and will share it with others who need a perfect, uplifting start to their day!

Redemption for the most unlikely of cadidates!
Big Pete has been a hit man for years. He has never had any problems completing his commissions, but things are about to change. On the day he receives his latest from a man who owns an adult entertainment store, his life gets a bit strange. The first thing he notices is every time he seems to pick up something, a biblical scripture is printed somewhere on it. When he arrives to take out his target, his life literally gets turned on its ear.
This is a very special redemption story of the least likely of candidates. I found it both compelling and uplifting. You will think about it long after you finish turning pages. Very highly recommended!
