If you want to learn about one of history's most fascinating minds and uncover some of his secrets of imagination--secrets that enabled him to invent machines light years ahead of his time and literally bring light to the world--then you want to read this book.Imagination amplifies and colors every other element of genius, and unlocks our potential for understanding and ability. It's no coincidence that geniuses not only dare to dream of the impossible for their work, but do the same for their lives. They're audacious enough to think that they're not just ordinary players. Few stories better illustrate this better than the life of the father of the modern world, a man of legendary imaginative power and wonder: Nikola Tesla. In this book, you...
This Creativity give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Self Help Teaser
This book is more of a teaser to the author's self help work than any real coverage of Nikola Tesla. I got it free and it was scarcely worth the price of admission. I read the entire work in less than two hours. One third of the book is an introduction full of quotes and name drops from people such as Malcolm Gladwell or Mark Twain that had little relevance to the text. My high school history book contained nearly as much information on Tesla as this book. If you know absolutely nothing about Tesla and the dramatic conspiracies against him, read the wikipedia article. It has much more about the man and his life than this book. Tesla is a fascinating figure and I highly recommend anyone interested in our scientific heritage learn more about his life and work.
2. Quite an interesting read!
This was a great free book, although a short one. I should warn, however, that the first part does not talk about Tesla, but rather the nature of greatness. This rather long prologue of sorts was not boring by any means, many interesting historical anecdotes were given on a variety of famous people. If you are only interested in reading about Tesla, however, you will need to skip nearly a third of the book. That being said, I enjoyed both parts thoroughly. Tesla has long been a hero of mine, a greatly misunderstood genius, constantly done in by unscrupulous men and his own sense of generosity and fair play. I've often wondered if Tesla had had a ruthless but devoted manager to keep the wolves at bay, how many more brilliant theories and inventions would he have created? Sadly, the world will never know, we must just be grateful for what he did accomplish.

A very informative and interesting book.
I really enjoyed reading this book. While I knew a few things about Tesla I learned quite a bit more about him when I read this book. The book is very well written and is very informative. I also learned a few things about Thomas Edison that I did not know. I was shocked to find out how he treated Tesla. However, Tesla didn't let Thomas Edison, or anyone else, stop him from turning his ideas into reality. Yea Tesla! Great message in that for us all.
