This Contemporary give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Don't read if you're looking for any sort of plot...
... or character. This story has no development whatsoever. It took forever for me to even figure out where this book was set. I'd been hoping this would be different from most of the stories about women who live in New York, or California, or Seattle, but nope. This was a quick read, not because you get sucked into it and want to read more, but because it's so poorly developed, it doesn't take long for you to figure out what's going on and pay attention to it.
2. Really???
Ok, the heroine is a law school graduate, studying for the bar, she has also been a model. Now, can you believe this chick is not only a virgin, she has no idea how the whole sex thing works. Is she just stupid or was she home schooled for 19 years? I'm sorry, I just can't buy all this "innocence". The book started off like it was going to be good. Then in a fit of temper she stomps her foot. What are we 5? She lost me right there and it just kept getting worse.
The sheik takes a shine to her but she is determined to not be his baby maker. Honestly, I didn't see what he saw in her to pursue her. Now maybe she needed to be a virgin to marry the ruler of the country, but I just don't buy it. I quit reading after the two of them had sex. She acted so immature and stupid I just couldn't find a thing to like about her. He was ok considering who he was and the way he was raised. I'm sure they live HEA but I didn't bother to finish reading to find out. I really don't...
